2. Jagung muda
Parut jagung muda tersebut, kmudia dibalurkan pd bagian kulit yg warnanya hitam krena ada bekas cacar. Lakukan sesering mungkin hingga kulit mnjdi halus dan warna hitamnya jg hilang.

3. Kulit telur

Pengalaman : Klo saya waktu dulu kena cacar, menghilangkan bekas cacarnya pke cara yg no. 2 alias menggunakan jagung muda. Dan alhamdulillah berkat keyakinan dan rajin, bekas cacarnya bisa hilang. Tentunya, dgn proses yg tidak cepat.

BUTTERFLY CARD
More Kinder Crafts A colorful butterfly card made from construction paper. This card is great for birthdays, Mother's Day, or other occasions.
Supplies needed:
  • Construction paper
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Hole punch
  • Glue stick
  • Markers or crayons
  • Optional: Glitter glue or glitter
Fold two pieces of construction paper in half, making two card shapes.
Put the two folded cards together (one inside the other). Along the fold of one of them, draw half a butterfly.
Keeping the two cards together, cut along the line you just drew. You will now have two butterflies.
On only one of the butterflies, fold it in half again and draw a smaller butterfly within it. Cut along the line you just drew.
Using the hole punch, make a series of holes along the edges of the two pieces you just cut.
Glue one of these pieces onto the larger, uncut butterfly. Flip the large butterfly over, and glue on the other cut piece.
Cut a black or brown body for your butterfly. Glue it onto the inside of your butterfly.
You now have a nice butterfly card. Write a message on your card. Optional: Decorate your butterfly with crayons, markers, glitter glue, or glitter.
You need:

1) Shoe box lid or cereal box with front panel cut off
2) Marbles
3) White paper
4) Liquid paint
5) Newspaper

Instructions:

  1. Protect your work area with newspaper.

  2. Lay a sheet of white paper in the shoe box lid. To make a lid use an empty cereal box, cut the front panel away. If the paper is too big for your lid, you will have to trim it.

  3. Dip a marble in the paint.

  4. Put the marble in the lid and gently lift the lid and tilt it back and forth and side to side.

  5. The marble will make a cool design of paint across the paper. Do this until you are pleased with the effect.

  6. You can use multiple colors of paint. It is best to allow the first color to dry before beginning with the next.

Ladybug
Coccinellidae
Photo: Ladybug on cholla cactus
Ladybugs, ladybirds, or lady beetles—whatever one calls them—are favored by farmers as voracious pest-eaters.
Illustration: Ladybug compared with paper clip
Many people are fond of ladybugs because of their colorful, spotted appearance. But farmers love them for their appetite. Most ladybugs voraciously consume plant-eating insects, such as aphids, and in doing so they help to protect crops. Ladybugs lay hundreds of eggs in the colonies of aphids and other plant-eating pests. When they hatch, the ladybug larvae immediately begin to feed. By the end of its three-to-six-week life, a ladybug may eat some 5,000 aphids.
Ladybugs are also called lady beetles or, in Europe, ladybird beetles. There are about 5,000 different species of these insects, and not all of them have the same appetites. A few ladybugs prey not on plant-eaters but on plants. The Mexican bean beetle and the squash beetle are destructive pests that prey upon the crops mentioned in their names.
Ladybugs appear as half-spheres, tiny, spotted, round or oval-shaped domes. They have short legs and antennae.
Their distinctive spots and attractive colors are meant to make them unappealing to predators. Ladybugs can secrete a fluid from joints in their legs which gives them a foul taste. Their coloring is likely a reminder to any animals that have tried to eat their kind before: "I taste awful." A threatened ladybug may both play dead and secrete the unappetizing substance to protect itself.

Calliphora vomitoria

Blue Bottle Flies are from the Blow Fly family. They are larger than house flies, growing about half an inch long. Their head and thorax (front and middle sections) are gray, the abdomen (large rear section) is bright metallic blue. They have red eyes and clear wings.
Blue Bottle Flies live just about anywhere, including woods, fields, parks, and farms. They seem to prefer shady places. Blue Bottle Flies often enter homes.
This fly eats from dead animals or meat, living animals with open wounds, animal poop, or some other decaying matter.

© Garden Safarie, http://www.gardensafari.net/

After mating, the female Blue Bottle Flies lays her eggs in the same place she feeds, usually in a dead animal. The eggs quickly hatch, and the young larvae, called maggots, eat immediately. The maggots are whitish with small black hooks to tear flesh with. Their saliva helps dissolve (melt) the flesh so they can eat it more easily.
After a week or so of feeding, the larvae crawl away to a dry place and burrow a little ways into soil. They then become pupae (resting stage). Pupae are tough brown coccoons.
After two or three weeks, adult Blue Bottle Flies come out of the pupae.
Blue Bottle Flies breed often during the warm months. Both larvae and pupae can live through the winter, but adults die when it gets too cold.
Blue Bottle Flies sometimes lay eggs in the wound of a living animal. The larvae, when they hatch, eat from the host animal. This is called "myiasis" and can cause infections in the animal.
Because these flies are attracted to foul-smelling things, like dead animals and poop, they sometimes fly to plants with bad-smelling flowers (like Greenbrier) or fungi (like Elegant Stinkhorn). Blue Bottle Flies end up helping these organisms because they transport pollen or spores so that they can grow new plants or mushrooms.

Predators of Blue Bottle Flies include spiders, birds, and bats. Larvae and pupae may be eaten by beetles or centipedes.

Praying Mantis Range

The praying mantis is named for its prominent front legs, which are bent and held together at an angle that suggests the position of prayer. The larger group of these insects is more properly called the praying mantids. Mantis refers to the genus mantis, to which only some praying mantids belong.
By any name, these fascinating insects are formidable predators. They have triangular heads poised on a long "neck," or elongated thorax. Mantids can turn their heads 180 degrees to scan their surroundings with two large compound eyes and three other simple eyes located between them.
Typically green or brown and well camouflaged on the plants among which they live, mantis lie in ambush or patiently stalk their quarry. They use their front legs to snare their prey with reflexes so quick that they are difficult to see with the naked eye. Their legs are further equipped with spikes for snaring prey and pinning it in place.
Moths, crickets, grasshoppers, flies, and other insects are usually the unfortunate recipients of unwanted mantid attention. However, the insects will also eat others of their own kind. The most famous example of this is the notorious mating behavior of the adult female, who sometimes eats her mate just after—or even during—mating. Yet this behavior seems not to deter males from reproduction.
Females regularly lay hundreds of eggs in a small case, and nymphs hatch looking much like tiny versions of their parents

Platycerium bifurcatum

click to enlargePlatycerium bifurcatum, the Elkhorn fern, occurs naturally in New Guinea, and along the coasts of Queensland and New South Wales. It is cultivated in many countries, it has become naturalised (that is, it has spread into the wild) in Florida, and it has been listed as an environmentally invasive species in Hawaii. It belongs in the family Polypodiaceae, which has 10 genera and 26 species in Australia.
The Elkhorn fern is an epiphyte, growing on the trunks and branches of trees. Each plant is composed of a mass of plantlets. A plantlet consists of a nest leaf 12-30 cm wide, lying against the bark of the host tree. The nest leaves of neighbouring plantlets overlap one another. The nest leaves become brown and papery with age, and do not produce spores (they are sterile). Fertile fronds 25-90 cm long protrude from each plantlet. Each frond divides into two segments a number of times along its length. Spores are produced on the undersurface of the end segments of each frond. The spore producing areas are coloured tan brown, and have the texture of velvet cloth.
The easiest way to propagate P. bifurcatum is to remove a plantlet and then tie it to the desired new location. A large old knife, or a thin flat trowel, may be used to remove a plantlet from the rest of the plant. The implement should be inserted beneath the membrane of a plantlet and then used to prize the roots of the plantlet from the other plantlets. The plantlet may then be tied to its new location with lengths of cloth or stocking. If the new plant is required to be of a large size, then a number of plantlets can be removed together from a large P. bifurcatum plant.
click to enlargePlatycerium bifurcatum may also be propagated from its spores. To collect the spores, place the part of a frond that is producing spores in a brown paper bag. Leave the frond in the bag until there is brown dust in the bag, which are the spores. Fill a plastic or terracotta pot with peat moss, and pour boiling water through the peat moss to sterilize it. Immediately place a glass or plastic sheet over the pot to keep it sterile. Once the peat moss has cooled down, spread the spores evenly over the surface of the peat moss, then immediately replace the glass or plastic sheet over the pot. Stand the bottom of the pot in an ice cream container with a shallow layer of water, and place the pot and container in a warm position receiving indirect sunlight. Once the spores have germinated, a green scum will initially appear over the surface of the peat moss. After a period of weeks to months, the fronds of the Elkhorn fern will begin to appear and the glass cover of the pot can be removed. Once the new plants have grown larger, they can be transferred to a tree trunk.
P. bifurcatum plants require a shady area to grow in, and need to be kept moist. They are not prone to attack from many pests and insects, but may be preyed upon by scale bugs and mealy bugs. These pests may be removed from the plant by scratching them off. Ladybirds will eat these pests, and so may help to control them.
